The making of iPad Head Girl video

As a piece of viral marketing, Cosmo’s iPad Head Girl video has been a runaway success with most major news organisations and websites picking up on the stunt that saw a woman boxed in by four iPads walking around New York City promoting a men’s magazine.

The creative agency behind iPad Head Girl Thinkmodo has released a making of video showing how the iPad cranium was created to promote the new iPad-only magazine for men.

We appreciate iPad Girl not because it promotes a men’s magazine, but for its use of mobile technology and video cameras to show us something new. This is no static billboard or a cliched TV box; a new medium demands a new way of advertising and iPad Girl nails it in four.
