See how The Fixer was made at film festival masterclass
The Smalls Short Film Festival is happening now and is part of the London Design Festival. As well as showing films across all genres including documentary, comedy, drama, music video and digital Media, it is also hosting a packed programme of panel discussions and masterclasses from industry experts.
It also has a section devoted to mobile filmmaking, so it gets a big shout out from us. On Friday, Conrad Mess will be holding a masterclass in iPhone filmmaking. We showed his film, The Fixer, at our own iPhone Popup Film Festival recently – and it blew the audience away with many refusing to believe it was made on a smartphone.
See how he did it by going along to his class at 2.30pm, Friday at The Hospital Club, 24 Endell Street, WC2H 9HQ London. Tickets are only £5, and are available on the door.
Conrad Mess and another fantastic iphone filmmaker, Craig Anthony Perkins, are also featured in an article, reviewing seven must haves for iPhone, which is a handy resource for anyone interested in iPhone filmmaking.
• Article amended with correct time of masterclass, which is at 2.30pm, not 3pm.
