The jury is out and submissions have now closed for the 2011 iPhone Film Festival (iFF2).

Festival founder Ruben Kazantsev says the iFF2 attracted over 300 submissions with over 40 entries flooding in hours before the deadline.

The panel of judges now have the difficult task of choosing winners from three categories:

● Best Film (Feature Film, Short Film and Series)
● Best Music Video (Music Video)
● Best Cinematography (Cinematography and Documentary)

Winners will be announced online on 19 October and will be covering the event.

The first iPhone Film Festival in April was a huge success with the main prize going to Majek Pictures for its innovative Goldilocks series, filmed entirely on an iPhone 4.

Check back in on 19 October to see who will be the winners of the second iPhone Film Festival. is the official media partner of the 2011 iPhone Film Festival
