iPhone Film Festival winner The Film Artist goes to Lanzarote

The Film Artist, who made a name for himself with Glimpses from my iPhone to the sounds of Bollywood bites, winner of best cinematography in the 2010 iPhone Film Festival (IFF), has submitted another entry in this year’s IFF.

Manrique’s Lanzarote is part eulogy to the Spanish artist César Manrique, who had ties to the island and part travel video capturing the mysterious beauty of Fuerteventura with its brilliant white beaches.

It is fertile ground for The Film Artist, who has produced another visually stunning film, this time with a more subdued soundtrack.

He shot it with a GH2, Glidetrack, iPhone 4 and a Steadicam Smoothee, his prize as a IFF winner last around.

Check it out.
