Last call for submissions to iPhone Film Festival

Midnight today (31 March) is the deadline for submissions to the iPhone Film Festival (IFF), with the winners announced on 6 April.

The brainchild of organiser Ruben Kazantsev, the IFF has tapped into the rich seam of content not only being produced on the iPhone 4 but other smartphones including the impressive Nokia N8.

Kazantsev said the IFF has received more than 200 entries, making the task of choosing three overall winners extremely difficult.

As well as interest from smart film-makers, the IFF has also attracted sponsors offering main prizes including an Owle Bubo by ALM Live, iPhone Point’n’Shoot by Zacuto, lenses from USB Fever and a kickback g4 by Scosche.

Winners of the IFF will be chosen from Best Film, Best Music Video and Best Cinematography categories.

For those smart film-makers who have missed the deadline for the IFF, Kazantsev is also organising a SmartPhone Film Festival with a deadline for submissions in October.
