Four iPhones, one Mystery Guitar Man, one music video

Mystery Guitar Man, iPhone, Vidoe

A viral kinda guy: Joe Penna, aka Mystery Guitar Man

We’ve seen this trick a few times, and although it looks fun it’s actually quite a feat to pull off. Viral hero Mystery Guitar Man made 238 takes and shot and edited the video on four iPhones to get everything to sync up in this ‘Video Puzzle’, a music video for his cover of Fun’s We Are Young.

See how he dit it here. He plays guitar too.

His YouTube channel features a number of complex music videos. His cover of Tommy Tune’s Jenny (867–5309) featured a stop motion animation using nothing but 10,000 different colored guitar picks. His Music with Lights video used a laser pointer to draw out each note of an orchestral piece. He even animates a dry-erase board as he is drawing it.
