Attach your iPhone to your bike with iGrip
As mobile filmmakers we’re always on the lookout for interesting accessories to make our lives easier – so get this: the iGrip, which allows you to stick your iPhone to your bike handlebars.
Launched at The Consumer Electronics show by German company Herbert Richter, the iGrip has impressed with its robustness, pretty crucial if you are attaching a $600 smartphone to your bike.
The iGrip will also mount on car windows, attach to the back of seats as well as bicycle handlebars. And while one of the uses is to check emails while riding your bike (which sounds just a tad foolhardy), an obvious benefit is that it will allow you to film while being completely mobile. The holders adjust so that you don’t have to take your phone out of it case – and some also charge the device while it’s docked.
Price range from $29.95 to $39.95, and at present the iGrip is only available online.
Get that camera rolling!
